* If users are allowed to save configurations, a folder with All access rights for these configurations must be available. This folder does not have to be a subfolder of the project folder.

LocalDataDir

The LocalDataDir is used to store CalcCache results. Many files can be written and deleted from this folder (and subfolders). On some systems errors like: "Cannot open/access file" occur, related to synchronisation/locking issues with the CalcCache files.

We advice to activate the option: Compress contents to save disk space (from the properties > advanced dialog) on your %LocalDataDir% folder. Furthermore exclude the %LocalDataDir% folder from indexing services. Excluding the LocalDataDir from your Virus Scanner might also prevent this type of issues, but virus management always remains an issue of the administrator of the system.
